The Wheeler Historic Farm in Utah - A Great Vacation and Travel Destination

Many visitors to Salt Lake City, Utah, visit the Wheeler Historic Farm every year. If you happen to live in the area or are even just passing through you will definitely want to check out the Wheeler Historic Farm. It has an interesting history and many fun things to do.
The Farm was started in 1886 when the 75 acre farm became home to newlyweds Sariah and Henry Wheeler. The farm was home to a dairy enterprise that was quite successful and the regular every day chores like milking cows, gathering eggs, chopping wood, churning butter, making soap, cutting ice, and more.
Remember, the farm is outdoors so you will need to provide your own food and drink. While you are at the farm you can explore and see the animals, check out the wetlands, and just have a good time. The farm is open from dawn until dusk every day and the office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5.
It's really easy to find the farm and it is located at 6351 South 900 East in Salt Lake City. Simply take exit 8 from the 1-215 and you will see the farm located on the east side of 900. You may choose to visit for a few hours or to make an entire day of it. It can be a lot of fun to pack a picnic lunch and take your time exploring the 75 acre farm with your family. Next time you are in Salt Lake City be sure to take the time to check out this amazing farm. You'll definitely learn some new things and have fun exploring!
